Cooperative Molecular Communication in Drift-Induced Diffusive Cylindrical Channel

A cooperative molecular communication (CMC) system is considered inside a cylindrical-shaped channel where few nodes (CNs) are intermediately placed between transmitter (TX) and fusion center (FC). The expressions for the maximum achievable rate probability of error at FC considering AND OR rules derived. Furthermore, performance CMC in cylindrical compared with direct CN-assisted systems. randomly-placed CNs also analyzed uniformly-placed CNs, it found that lower obtained case uniform placement CNs. as function radial displacement TX under constant flow laminar higher observed flow. increased occurs due to fact drift velocity decreases towards walls channel. analytical verified using Monte-Carlo simulations.
